Sunday Parkways

This weekend was the second Sunday Parkways of the summer where Portland closed down 7 miles of streets so that people could take to the streets. Felix rode about 4 miles with stops for food and fun! (He's also super excited for his trip to Sweden. Can you tell?)

Ella's First Camping Trip

Last weekend we packed up the car and headed to the beach for Eleanor's first camping trip. The forecast was threatening rain and cold temperatures. Fortunately for us it was warm and sunny by late morning! While we didn't get much sleep, we had a lot of fun.

A Boy's First Kite

Felix got his first kite on our recent camping trip to the beach. The octopus theme went well with our trip to the aquarium. The wind was blowing and the kite was dancing over the beach!

Newport Aquarium

On our recent camping trip, we made a stop at the Newport Aquarium. The touching pool with sharks was a huge hit as was the tunnel through shark infested waters. What a great visit!

Happy 4th!

To celebrate the 4th of July this year, we went to Seattle where Felix got to watch fireworks, investigate tide pools and see his first movie in a theater. Ella slept like a champ. We'll need to visit again soon!
