Celebration

November is always a busy month filled with celebrations including birthdays and Thanksgiving. We have so much to be thankful for!

Practice Makes Perfect

It's always a good thing to practice. Felix takes his practicing very seriously! Every bath is an opportunity to work on swimming. Maybe we need a bigger tub!

Halloween

Felix had eagerly been anticipating Halloween for weeks. He was so excited to be a dragon. Eleanor on the other hand, was not so sure that this costume thing is a good idea.

Every day

Here are a few scenes from the every day in our house. One highlight is of Felix and Daddy playing games on the iPhone. Another is Felix's racetrack with all of the cars. In this particular race, everyone was winning and they were all helping each other out!

Museum Day

On Saturday, September 26, the Smithsonian had Free Museum Day. We decided to check out a museum that we had never been to. For a real adventure, we went to the World Forestry Center by MAX train! While there were many fun things to see inside, it was the old locomotive that was the highlight of the day.

Bouldering

Felix's friend Alison has been taking him bouldering at the local rock climbing gym. This past week the whole family tagged along to watch Felix climb. He was really comfortable on the wall and was proud of his climbing. He loves it and we love that he has such a fantastic opportunity to learn with a great teacher!

Another Tradition

Another tradition of ours is participating in the Oregon beach clean up every fall. This year we were prepared for the worst. The weather forecast was for rain and wind but when we got there the sun was out and it was gorgeous. What a day!
