A rainy Sunday over Memorial Day weekend seemed like the perfect chance to visit some local waterfalls.

Summer is Near!

At the beginning of the week the temperature was in the 50's and rainy. For the past few days it has been in the high 80's to 90's. A 40 degree change in less than a week! It has definitely made us anxious for summer. In fact, tonight was the first night in ages that we ate dinner outside. Fond memories of delicious meals shared last summer came flooding back. We miss you guys!

Busy Spring

Once the birthday celebrations died down, we thought we might need to get away for a little break or two. We had a wonderful day at Short Sands Beach where Felix talked with the old woman in the rock. We also enjoyed a weekend trip to Sophia's mountain house. What a big difference little trips can make in boosting up spirits!

3 Years!

This spring was busy with many birthday parties so when Felix's day rolled around, he knew exactly how it should go. He was given two harmonicas and decided that two is better than one! That way he is ready for a duet at any time. He was also sure that he wanted "black" flavored cupcakes.
